Another year drawing to a close, and a new one almost here. It's amazing to look back and see all the achievements of this last year in the Revolution offices, and in the community. It's even more exciting to look forward to 2008, which promises to be the best year ever for Revolution.

Over the last year, we have expanded our team, and the Revolution offices are now crowded, so we are seriously looking at moving. Work them hard and pile them high would seem an appropriate motto for the team at the moment! The photo at the top of this article doesn't even include every member of the team - sadly we didn't fly our new Marketing Director over from the US to be at the party - maybe next year Bill! Our webmaster, Robin, is on leave due to the arrival of his first baby - congratulations and welcome to the RR community little Faith :). Jacqueline Landman Gay who so competently assists with technical support, isn't in the picture. I didn't make it either, but maybe next year.

Many of the staff in the picture are recent additions (welcome Tim, Tom, Stuart, Laura, Michael and Ben Seven). Of course it will take time for everyone to get up to speed, but we look forward to achieving a lot in 2008.

2008. What a great year it's going to be. We have the first ever official Runtime Revolution Conference, Revolution Live. Don't miss it! We'll bring you all the news as it happens in this newsletter, new speakers, what they'll be talking about, all the best offers, and of course reporting from the conference itself as it happens, so be sure and watch out for conference articles.

Early in the New Year Revolution 2.9 will be bringing you our most mature release yet, with updated Linux and huge improvements in all areas of the program. Following on from that we will be introducing new technology including mmmphhh mumble oops what is that, an NDA? Sorry folks, I can't tell you what we'll be including, but I know you'll love it... and if you want a sneak preview, come along to the conference, sign an NDA of your own, and attend the special session on the post-conference day with Kevin and Mark.

To close out the year and celebrate the contribution made by our dedicated RevSelect authors we are bringing you the fantastic MegaBundle offer, don't miss out on this. It's our reward to you, the community, for being there and supporting Revolution, the best authoring environment, with the best and most vibrant community of any I've seen.

So, to conclude, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Winter Solstice, whatever holiday you are celebrating, celebrate it well and in the company of those you love. Have a fantastic New Year!
