best laptop for MetaCard

I live out of G4 Powerbook, and generally it is OK with Metacard. One thing, 
and I should have reported this to Scott, but if there are any players open 
(like a quicktime file or a sound file), when I put the machine to sleep, it 
always crashes when you wake the machine up. (I'm using OS9.)
