Long ago, someone contributed this:


>  	open file "com3:" for write
>     	write "ATS7=1L0DT" & tNumber & cr to file "com3:"
>     	wait 10 secs
>     	close file "com3:"

This is similar to that mentioned before, except this sets carrier wait 
time to 1 second and turns off the speaker volume.

You might prefer that the wait time is longer or the speaker being on.  
You might also consider setting register S6 for blind dialing.
