I guess that Script Debug Mode adds a level of complexity, and 
sometimes the debugger can get in the way if it's not behaving 100% 
correctly.

Another reason is that sometimes you might have many, many breakpoints 
set. You would not be able to run your stack at all without turning off 
those breakpoints. So in a sense, Script Debug Mode off = ignore all 
breakpoints. Which seems right.
