Gee, Marc,

I kinda figured every English-speaking programmer (and even some non 
programmers) could understand:

>put 0 into word3Total
>repeat for each line theValues in someText
>     add word 3 of item 6 of theValues to word3Total
>end repeat

And I put that in because you indicated you couldn't imagine why you 
would ever need to get word 3 of item 6 of line 17 of someText. 
Scenario: Your project leader gives you a CD and says, "Here is a 
comma-delimited text file of financial data.  The sixth field in each 
record contains three numeric values separated by spaces.  I need to 
know the total of the third value for all records."
