I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing performance issues with 
LiveCode 7.  As you may be aware, I have been looking into this 
recently.

I have asked the user community for examples of real-world application 
stacks (as opposed to synthetic benchmarks) that have experienced 
significant performance regression on LiveCode 7.0.x when compared to 
LiveCode 6.7.x.  I'm glad to hear that you have one available.

If possible, please create a bug report and attach your stack, with a 
description of how best to observe the slow-down.  Otherwise, please 
e-mail me directly (<peter at livecode.com>); I'm happy to discuss your 
issues under an NDA if required.
