Was that in MetaCard?
I first discovered this issue years ago while I was still working with
MC. I made a stack demonstrating a certain technique involving AE for a
client, and it worked great when I built the standalone in MC so I
shipped it to him.
Later after he tried it out with Revolution the appleEvent handler
wasn't triggering. After some experimentation I found that putting it
into a frontScript solved the problem with LC, and haven't thought about
it again until Peter's post today.
